Welcome to the Lizzie Rose Tea Room, a charming oasis nestled in the heart of historic Tuckerton, NJ. Our tea room is housed in a beautifully restored 1860 Victorian home, lovingly renovated and refurbished by Liz and Dan Reichard. Originally built as the Custom House for Tuckerton Seaport, this elegant structure has a storied past and a rich history that we are excited to share with you.


Our Victorian gem has an intriguing past includes a fascinating rumor: it is believed to have been part of the Underground Railroad. This piece of history adds a layer of mystery and significance to our tea room, making your visit not only a delightful experience but also a journey through time.

As you step into the Lizzie Rose Tea Room, you'll be greeted by the stunning 100-year-old painted glass doors imported from South America. These exquisite doors serve as a testament to the home's storied past and add a touch of historical grandeur to our inviting space.


One of our most intriguing features is the stained glass window marked with the number “217.” The story behind this unique window is as enigmatic as the house itself, and we invite you to discover the mystery and historical significance behind this beautiful piece of art during your visit.
